A woman is keeping her word by sharing her £81,000 bingo windfall.
The 53-year-old Rochdale lady, who wishes to remain anonymous, won the money while playing with her 74-year-old aunt, with whom she had a pact to share any winnings.
She won the National Bingo Game prize of £77,720 at the Buckingham Club in the Middleton Avenue centre, according to the National Bingo.
Her funds were further topped up when she won the regional prize of £3,000 and the house prize of £180, after completing a full house in 46 numbers.
The lucky lady, who is married with two children, told the National Bingo: “I was in shock when I realised how much I had won.
“I like playing at the Buckingham because it’s such a friendly club. I’m still excited and very pleased.”
According to the National Bingo, over three million UK residents play the game every year.
Many bingo fans also play the game online at sites such as Foxy Bingo, Kiss my Bingo and Virgin Bingo, where they can enjoy bingo from the comfort of their own home. Online Bingo News brought to you by Bingobase.com
