William Hill's bingo advertisement is the latest TV promotion from the gambling world which has been banned.
The Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) has banned the ad, which features a woman who is so eager to gamble that she is hiding her bingo activities from her family.
William Hill's ad shows the lady changing the clock in her home in order to fool her husband to go to work earlier so she can log onto her PC and play more bingo.
The ASA received a total of seven complaints about the ad from riled viewers.
According to the regulator, the trick the woman plays with the clock shows that she is desperate to play bingo and her gambling has become a problem that is forcing her to keep secrets from her family.
In related news, a 43 year old bingo player from Cusworth won 187,000 playing the game at her local club this week.
