A centenarian has made plans for 12 months' time - she wants to win the bingo at a Christmas party next year.
Minnie Brazier, who recently celebrated her 105th birthday, has set her sights on the numbers game event at the Barnstaple Link Rotary Club Christmas Party, reports the North Devon Gazette.
Her love of bingo was revealed by the organisation's president Lewis Baglow, who was commenting on a successful occasion this year.
"[Ms Brazier] is such a joy. She loves the carol singing by the Barnstaple ladies choir and the chance to make new friends," he added.
In the online bingo world, there are various festive promotions currently on offer to gamers.
Mecca Bingo launches Mecca Fiver on Monday December 15th following the success of Gala Bingo's land-based High 5 game.
Gala's offering has been well received over the last 12 months, and the positive response it received was partly responsible for the company leaving the National Bingo Game earlier this year.
