Billy Bingo has won the WhichBingo.com Site of the Year award, beating second-placed Bingo Card to top spot.
Gaming fans spent February casting their votes and it was last year’s winner Billy Bingo that emerged as the favoured portal for 2008.
It is the first time that a site has ever retained the title after six years of the annual competition.
“The site appeared to be destined for great things when it was nominated for the WhichBingo New Site of the Year award in 2005,” said WhichBingo.com. “However, few could have predicted back-to-back wins.”
BingoMania, iBingo and Bingo Vega made up the remaining top five places, while the top 25 sites were acknowledged as part of the awards.
Incidentally, BingoMania and iBingo have both collected the coveted award in past years.
CyberBingo was the company that won the first ever Site of the Year accolade in 2003.
