We have seen the growth and success of online bingo for the past few years, especially in the UK. They did a three month campaign especially dedicated to the Breast Cancer Care. William Hill Bingo conducted a special online bingo promotion from October to December 2008 to raise funds for the said charity. Last month, January 2009, they have donated a total of �41,000 to the Breast Cancer Care. It was a great way to do charity work.
The Pink Ribbon bingo game was the promotion held last October, the month that has become Breast Cancer Awareness month over the past few years. William Hill Bingo made it a point to start the fundraiser on October as part of breast cancer awareness. All the online bingo players had to do was to play their favorite games in one of the Pink Ribbon games offered by William Hill Bingo. There was nothing different in the game except for the fact that players get to help fund research and help those who are suffering the dreaded disease.
The Pink Ribbon Campaign was a success, thanks to the many female online bingo players of William Hill Bingo. In fact, the reason that they have chosen the charity was also because of the same reason that there were a lot of female bingo players in the site.
