 PartyGaming have announced the acquisition of Cashcade Ltd, the UK market leader in online bingo and the company behind the leading brand Foxy Bingo. In a deal worth up to £95.9million, Party Gaming hopes to use the acquisition as the platform for building a substantial share of the $1.5billion dollar bingo market.
Cashcade’s online bingo websites include Foxy Bingo, Think Bingo, Little Big Bingo, Bingo Scotland as well as the casino sites GetMinted.com and Foxy Flutter.
Foxy Bingo has had an long term relationship with Bingobase.com which has proved fruitful for both parties. In the short to medium term bingo players shouldn’t be effected by the takeover, the games, promotions, chat, services should all remain as good as ever but the long term may be a different ball game altogether.
