Friday night the 29th January is going to be a very special night at 888 Ladies Bingo. As many of you may know this site hosts a massive monthly guaranteed prize game of £8,888; January’s plays on Friday, but his game is going to be incredibly meaningful for the winner, as all the proceeds from the ticket sales are to be donated to the Oxfam Haiti Earthquake fund raising efforts. So just remember if you are aiming to buy tickets for this game they are available in pre-buy, so throw in an extra one or two. Not only will this increase your chances of winning, it will also increase the chances of someone surviving in the aftermath of this awful tragedy.
This is a wonderful gesture on the part of 888 Ladies Bingo and one of the very few responses I have seen by online bingo site. I would have thought we would be seeing a bit more of an effort by now. Although I did see one site say they were doing something for bowel cancer week; hardly seems appropriate in the face of the urgency for assistance facing what could be as many at 3 000 000 Haitian people and perhaps many more.
What if like 888 Ladies, every online bingo site in the UK took just one pre-buy game and donated the proceeds from the ticket sales to this disaster fund “JUST ONE PRE BUY GAME” that’s all!! Can you imagine what the possibilities could be, there are over 300 UK online bingo sites, just one game even if the guaranteed prize is only £50. “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” (Edmund Burke). Think about it and what a difference it could make.
