The tweetosphere was abuzz with twitpics of stormtroopers strolling through London's Old Street area this morning. We feel sorry for anyone unfamiliar with the suits, they would genuinely have thought they were under-attack or dreaming.
"Old Street" and "Stormtroopers" were both trending through breakfast and into brunch territory before there were any real clues as to what was happening in East London today.
Unsurprisingly this was a clever marketing campaign and it turns out this was executed by Greenpeace to protest against the environmental campaigning and lobbying that Volkswagen undertake in Europe.
