The numbers game enthusiast, 77, made a full house in 43 numbers to win the National Bingo Game earlier this week, according to the competition's official website.
A decision has yet to be made by the pensioner about what she will spend her money on, but it seems unlikely that she will give up playing bingo, which she claimed "helped a lot" following the death of her husband.
"The nights are long if you're sitting in on your own but when I play bingo I can go and have a chat with friends and feel better," she remarked.

An Airdrie man netted £36,000 at the now legendary Club 3000 in Coatbridge, where the world record for the biggest ever bingo jackpot was shattered earlier this year.
