The 26-year-old man was left in a state of shock after finding out how much he had won at the Gala Club in Osbourne Street.
He was playing the National Game when he scooped the prize of £37,165 as well as the zone prize of £2,066 and the house prize of £200.
The fluky fellow told the National Bingo: "I was extremely shocked when they announced how much I had won as previously I'd only ever won the rainbow ticket of £500.
"I still need to let it sink in and then I can think about what to do with the money but I think I'll probably be saving most of it."
He has been a member of the Gala Bingo club for eight years and says that he normally plays once a week.
According to the National Bingo, around 500 bingo clubs link-up to play the National Game every day of the year, except Christmas.
