When the pensioner, playing "Afternoon Delight" at Mecca Club in East Kilbride, won the "whole bingo hall erupted" in delight at the news.
Her good fortune did not end there though – the lucky lady went on to win the house prize of £108!
"I still have no idea what I'm going to do with the money, so I'll just sit on it until I've had a chance to take it all in," she said.
The win came was a big surprise, as the lady who plays bingo two to three times a week had only ever previously won £600.
East Kilbride bingo, however, has proved fortunate for bingo-goers throughout the year, as one player picked up the £100,000 jackpot in February.
Luck was clearly in the air for bingo players across the UK as another player in Liverpool also took home £10,000 when, like her counterpart, she reached bingo in 45 balls!
