A pensioner from Airdrie, Scotland is celebrating scooping a £100,000 bingo jackpot on her first visit to a brand-new local club.
The 75-year-old widow, who wishes to remain anonymous, won the national game jackpot, as well as a several other big prizes at the new Club 3000 bingo hall in Coatbridge, the Glasgow Evening Times reports.
Commenting on her jackpot success, the woman, who plans to share her winnings with her family, told the newspaper that she would have liked to have enjoyed the moment with her husband.
"My only regret is that he isn't here to share it with me," she said.
"He was a marvellous husband."
Every playing member of the brand new bingo hall has been picking up a number of gifts during Friday and Saturday afternoon games at during November, including Christmas-themed dabbers, cordless kettles and irons.
