By Sarah Smithon Tuesday, 12 Sep 2006 Geordie presenters Ant and Dec have taken out an insurance policy to protect them in case one of them dies and the pair's partnership is broken up.
The duo began their TV career on kids' show Byker Grove and now present countless programmes including I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
So successful has their comedy partnership been that they have insured against the unfortunate event of one of them popping his clogs.
"I just know that if [Ant] kicks the bucket, I get a massive payout," Dec told Radio Times magazine. "I don't know how much. We have people who look after that."
The pair also revealed that they interviewed Princes Charles, William and Harry and that Charles was reticent at first.
"We'd ask the boys questions and he'd answer for them," said Ant. "We told them there was no hidden agenda and once they realised that, the boys spoke more."
