The pair tied the knot on a rare rainy day in Italy, proving that money may be able to buy you a lot of things, but not the weather.
Blushing bride Coleen was snapped by photographers crying during the day, but it was not clear whether this was down to happiness or disappointment.
One onlooker told the Sun newspaper: "She was smiling bravely, but it must have been her worst nightmare.
"It's been gorgeous all week, then it buckets down."
The 22-year-old Liverpudlian lovebirds took their vows in the Villa Durazzo in front of close friends and family before they tucked into a feast and sipped champagne on Belvedere Terrace.
A team of British and Italian police were on hand throughout the day to maintain security levels, as the couple has struck a lucrative £2.5 million deal with OK! magazine for the exclusive photos of the wedding.
