A recent convert to bingo won a £202,000 jackpot at a Gala Bingo club in Feltham after being persuaded to play by her daughter.
The 54-year-old woman, who was made redundant from her job in March this year, says she now plays up to three times a week at the club at Air Park Way, Feltham.
Commenting on her win, the mother-of-four from Lower Sunbury told the National Bingo Game Association that she'd managed to win "ten years' wages" in one night playing bingo.
"My youngest daughter took up bingo a few months ago as a night out from the kids and she kept trying to persuade me to join her," she remarked.
"I didn't fancy it and kept resisting but finally gave in."
The Gala club at Feltham is now offering half price bingo games during the first Sunday afternoon of every month and 'buy one get one free' main session books on the last Wednesday of every month.
