By Sarah Smithon Monday, 10 Mar 2008 A housewife from Rochdale scooped a jackpot of £41,000 while playing at her local bingo hall - her second major win.
National Bingo reports that the lucky winner had previously won £56,000 playing the game 12 years ago.
The woman said that she could not believe she'd managed to win big prizes twice and described how she had become hooked on bingo.
She remarked: "The first time I won I had just been playing bingo for about two months and now I only play about two or three times a year."
Having won the National Bingo Game prize of £39,265 and the regional prize of £2,066, the housewife now plans to take a holiday and buy a new car.
Earlier this month, a 45-year-old woman from West Lothian is planning a trip to Australia after taking home a £77,000 jackpot from the Carlton Bridge Bingo Club in Almondvale.
