By Becky Turner on Monday, 2 Oct 2006 Two people stand to benefit hugely from a bingo win in Bolton - a 31-year-old woman and her mother-in-law.
The pair once made a pact whereby they agreed that, should either of them win, they would always give the other half of the pot.
That was 13 years ago and now the 31-year-old Bolton lady has won a total of £51,231 on the National Bingo Game. She completed a full house in 42 numbers and shared the £100,000 prize with another woman in London.
Now her mother-in-law stands to benefit too.
"We're both very pleased," she said. "When I realised I'd won I cried with shock and happiness, while my mother-in-law just cheered!"
Now that they're quids in, the pair plan to take the family to Spain for a holiday and the winner wants to buy extra-special Christmas presents for her kids later this year.
