By Becky Turner on Friday, 9 Mar 2007 A 42-year-old woman from Rugeley, Staffordshire has decided to share the £200,000 bingo jackpot she won at her local Gala Bingo club with her friends.
Michelle Kilner, who won the national prize, told the Express & Star that she will now divide the money between her four bingo partners.
"I won the prize myself and we all paid for our own tickers but when we went in we said we would split whatever we won, so that's what I'm going to do," she told the newspaper.
Ms Kilner said that she now plans to treat her husband and three children to a holiday and will invest the rest.
Gala Bingo, which also has an online bingo site, currently has five million members and gives away £28 million in prize money each week.
Gala is supporting this year's Comic Relief to help raise money for people in the UK and Africa.
