A teenager in Dudley has scooped a share of a national bingo jackpot just months after being legally allowed to play the game.
The 18-year-old has been a regular at the Brierley Hill Mecca Bingo club since his birthday in April and has had a significant amount of beginner's luck during this time.
"I usually seem to win something even if it is a small prize, but this is my first really big UK bingo win," he told the game's operating body National Bingo.
However, four other players across the country managed to get a full house in the same number of balls, meaning that he had to settle for just a share of the £100,000 jackpot.
At the same time it has been confirmed that four players shared a recent £45,000 national bingo top prize, with one lady who won at a Norwich club stating that the money comes just in time for her wedding.
