By Sarah Smithon Thursday, 18 Sep 2008 English supermodel Kate Moss and Welsh actress Catherine Zeta Jones have been revealed as keen bingo players.
According to Arlene Creighton, who works for children's charity NCH, the two famous faces are fans of the numbers game.
She told the Derry Journal that bingo is a very "popular" pursuit and namedropped the two aforementioned celebrities. David Wheater, the Middlesbrough Football Club defender, also revealed he enjoyed the game earlier this year.
"Bingo is really popular and loved by glamorous celebrities like Catherine Zeta Jones and Kate Moss," claimed Ms Creighton.
Her comments to the newspaper came in the build-up to an NCH fundraising event scheduled to be hosted by Gala Bingo in Ireland.
Dubbed Clickety Chicks, the evening will include a dinner, champagne reception and bingo session, among other activities.
Money raised by the special occasion will go towards helping 135-year-old charity NCH, which works to aid children in poverty, abused kids and disabled youngsters.
