The Girls Aloud beauty is reported by the Sun to be taking a break from their marriage following the reports that Cashley, as he is known, bed the 22-year-old blonde on a boozy night out with his Chelsea team mates.
In the past the Geordie singer has gone on record saying that she would kick any man that cheated on her to the curb.
However, faced with the reality of her husband's alleged infidelity it appears the Sexy No No No singer is struggling to give the England left-back the boot.
On Sunday she gave an exclusive interview to the News of the World, in which she said: "I've been through an emotional roller coaster but I'm determined to be strong.
"Ashley's a wonderful husband and we are in love. I won't let this woman destroy our marriage."
Cheryl added that she hopes mum-of-one Aimee enjoys the designer hand bag she will buy with her "dirty money".
However, after Aimee's revelations glamour model Brooke Healy came out of the woodwork and claimed that she too had been bedded by the married footballer.
