By Sarah Smithon Thursday, 20 Dec 2007 A civil servant from Kirkcaldy is celebrating her windfall after winning the bingo this week.
The lucky lady bagged £80,000 playing at Carlton Bingo in the Fife Leisure Park in Dunfermline after completing house in an impressive 40 numbers.
After winning the main National Bingo Game prize the 62-year-old went on to collect the house prize of £170.
She told the National Bingo: "My husband and I both sat there in disbelief when we were told how much I had won. [He] thought I must have got confused and called on a line, not the full house."
When asked what she would do with her winnings, she replied: "We'll wait until it is in the bank before we decide. It's still too hard to believe."
The couple, who have been playing bingo for a decade, have been loyal members of the Carlton Club since it opened.
Previous wins for the dedicated duo have ranged from between £100 and £200.
