A man in his 30s landed a terrific bingo jackpot of more than £100,000 at a >Mecca Bingo hall in Glasgow recently. The man was working as a coach driver and had driven his passengers to the Mecca hall at Glasgow's Quay. While he waited for his passengers to finish playing, he decided to pass the time by playing a few games himself and ended up netting a huge £101,111 win. "I am still in shock and have not decided what to do with the money yet, although I have a few ideas," he told the Glasgow Evening Times. He has not been on holiday for ten years and a trip to a sunny destination could be in order. However, he already has a Mercedes Benz so a car upgrade is unlikely. Paul McGlinchey was the Mecca manager who announced the win. "I announced the winner on stage and it was a brilliant atmosphere," he said. "We have not had a winner at The Quay for some time."
