Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, whose daughter Shiloh was born in Namibia on Sunday morning, have donated £170,000 to the African nation to help other babies. It is believed that the money will go towards paying for maternity equipment at hospitals in Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. The couple said: "We want to contribute to Namibia and the people who have been so gracious to us at this time." The country's deputy environment and tourism deputy minister, Leon Jooste, welcomed the pair's donation, saying that it would "contribute significantly" to the health of babies born in the area. Brangelina's baby was named Shiloh Nouvel Shiloh means "Peaceful One" in Hebrew, while "Nouvel" is French for "new" and offered Namibian citizenship. Jolie already has two adopted children, from Ethiopia and Cambodia. Pitt, who divorced Friends actress Jennifer Aniston last year, has announced that he wishes to become their adoptive father. Tomb Raider star Jolie was also recently in another high-profile marriage, to Billy Bob Thornton.
