Former Eastender Dean Gaffney is set to enter the jungle as a new contender in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
According to the Sun, the ex-soap star could be introduced to the camp in the next few days after being flown out as a stand-by contestant.
The newspaper quoted a source, saying: "Dean is just too good to have on stand-by, we had to use him."
Former England footballer Stan Bowles is also set to leave for Australia, although producers of the ITV1 show have not yet decided whether to use him.
The first episode of the new series proved to be a ratings hit, attracting 8.9 million viewers, making it the most watched programme in its timeslot.
However, Coronation Street and Eastenders still won out as the night's most popular programmes.
Other contestants in this year's I'm A Celebrity include former newsreader Jan Leeming, DJ Toby Anstis and former Neighbours star and singer Jason Donovan.
