By Simon Jones on Tuesday, 25 Nov 2008 The chief executive officer for EuroBingo.com has said the group is "excited" about the launch of NetPlay TV's Bingos.com in Sweden.
Dominic Mansour said that the country represents a "key market" for the organisation.
This is because of "the high internet penetration and propensity to play bingo" within the Scandinavian nation, the chief added.
"We are fortunate to be in a position to be able to quickly launch into any new market throughout Europe by building upon our existing liquidity," Mr Mansour continued.
Following the launch of online bingo in Sweden, there are plans to add television and mobile numbers game offerings in the future.
NetPlay also provides online gambling services for Spain, Italy, Poland and the UK, where it is based.
Parlay Entertainment, a bingo software provider, also has a hand in the Swedish marketplace. The company offers a 75-number game that is similar to the bingo offered in halls throughout the country.
