By Paula Wilcock on Tuesday, 16 Jan 2007 It was a lucky Christmas for a bingo player and her family last month, who all won a festive holiday to Lapland after scooping first place in a Foxy Bingo competition.
Claire Marshall and her family were jingling all the way after she won first prize in the Foxy Bingo Lapland contest.
Husband Gary, son Lewis and two daughters Letitia and Elsie wrapped up and headed out to get a dose of yuletide magic in the home of Father Christmas himself, all the way in the village of Levi.
With sheets of snow, evergreen trees, a team of snow huskies, elves and a chance to meet Santa at his busiest time of year, it was a picture perfect end to 2006 for the Marshalls.
"We had such a fantastic time in Lapland," Claire told Foxy Bingo. "The whole experience was really amazing. The highlight was just to see the children's faces light up when they saw Father Christmas.
"Only a few weeks ago I won a £250 prize but nothing can beat winning the trip to Lapland," she added. "This has really made it a very special Christmas for the whole family."
Foxy Bingo is currently giving players the chance to win a romantic trip for two to Paris this Valentines Day.
