Foxy Bingo holds charity night for CM Tippy

Bingobase partner Foxy Bingo has held a special charity night in honour of one of its chat hosts.

The bingo site matched all of the money played in the Lucky Stars room with all of the money going to charity Breast Cancer Care.

The special night was organised after long-serving CM Tippy was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Players who took part in proceedings yesterday (April 24th) took the time to leave messages of support for Tippy who has been described as "brilliant" by her employers.

"We were both shocked and saddened when we heard of CM Tippy's illness," commented Helen Rooney, Foxy Bingo's manageress.

"Tippy is a brilliant CM, a highly valued member of our community and is extremely popular with our players.

"The charity night helped raise money for breast cancer but also greater awareness of it among our vast community of players, 70 per cent of whom are women," she added.

The event lasted for two hours and has been described as a huge success with players logging on in their masses.

Tippy received many messages of support from players and vowed that she would be back online soon.

"This is just a blip in my life and while I will miss everyone on the site loads, I know I'll be back," she said.
