By Sarah Smithon Wednesday, 5 Dec 2007 A couple of friends from Falkirk were in the money this weekend after striking it lucky on the bingo.
Playing at the Gala Bingo club on Kerse Lane the lucky lady, who wishes to remain anonymous, bagged £17,500 which she will share with her bingo partner who she was playing with at the time.
The 46-year-old's decision is particularly noble considering the plethora of bingo law suits that are underway at the moment, concerning friends who have gone back on pledges to split their winnings.
She told National Bingo: "I'm very pleased though still in shock. I enjoy playing bingo and the Gala is a lovely club.
"The staff are great and everybody is nice and friendly. My family can now expect a wee bit extra for Christmas."
The flush lady, who is married with one son, called house in 46 balls on the National Bingo's Afternoon Delight game and has been playing bingo since 1987.
She plans to spend her winnings on a new kitchen and a celebratory holiday to Benidorm with her friend.
