By Penny Walker on Monday, 6 Oct 2008 A Gala Bingo player won a six-figure sum after a numbers game session in Falkirk recently.
The Journal and Gazette reports that the Bo'ness lady, who wanted to remain anonymous, won £177,369 during her trip to the venue.
Commenting to the newspaper, the unnamed bingo winner said that she will be returning to Gala Bingo in Falkirk again following her good fortune.
Explaining her day of success, she added: "When I woke up the next morning [after the bingo win] I had to ask my husband if I'd dreamt it all."
The lucky lady also revealed that she is going to split the big prize with three other people. As a result, two of her close friends and her daughter are set to benefit from windfalls of their own in the coming weeks.
Last month, the Boston Standard reported that a Donington bingo player won more than £2,000 after visiting the Gliderdrome in Boston, Lincolnshire to play the numbers game.
