By Sarah Smithon Friday, 8 Dec 2006 A new direct mail campaign featuring X-factor star Sharon Osbourne is being launched by Gala Bingo to promote its online bingo site, Galabingo.co.uk.
In addition to the site, which was launched six months ago, the company is aiming to increase the number of people tuning in to its live broadcast channel available to Sky subscribers, BrandRepublic reports.
Phil Windas, marketing manager at Gala Coral, said: "The campaign is built around the convenience and value of playing bingo at Galabingo.co.uk and Gala TV, as you can now play wherever and whenever you want from only 5p a ticket."
Gala Bingo has a 40 per cent share of the UK's bingo market and boasts over five million members.
Sharon Osbourne recently went to great lengths to get viewers of X Factor to vote for her act, Ben Mills, by offering to bare her breasts "to the nation", the Sun reports.
