By Simon Jones on Monday, 15 Sep 2008 The e-Gaming Review (EGR) Magazine award winners will be decided at the end of this week.
On September 19th, the publication's fourth annual prize ceremony takes place, offering internet gaming firms the chance to be acknowledged and rewarded.
According to the magazine's editor Jake Pollard, the companies that win are generally those that have made the "best use of resources".
Innovation and initiative will also be high on the list of what the dozen or so judges will be looking out for.
Commenting on the event, Mr Pollard said: "It was basically organised to reward the top operators in the industry, there's about 18 categories."
The categories range from internet-based marketing campaigner of the year to the most social and responsible operator of last 12 months, he added.
EGR Magazine offers readers information on activities within the online gaming market. It is a business-to-business publication that is aimed at analysts operating in the industry, as well as the sector's main decision makers.
