A 60-year-old bingo player from Glenrothes has landed more than £100,000 at the town's Gala Club in Carrick Gate. Long-time bingo fan Louisa Brock won the National Bingo Game prize of £100,000, along with the £1,073 regional prize and the club prize of £20, Gala Bingo reports. Of all the people playing in the 500 clubs across the UK, she completed a full house in the fewest numbers - a call of 40. "I thought to myself 'that was quick' when I shouted house, but didn't realise it was only 40 calls," said a shocked Mrs Brock, who has two sons, two daughters and nine grandchildren. "I'll believe it when I see the cheque in my hand." Her family has urged her to spend the money on herself and she is thinking of going on holiday abroad, as well as buying her council house. Louisa has been playing bingo for the last forty years. "My previous best win was £200," she said, "though I won £1,000 on a scratch card once".
