By Becky Turner on Monday, 13 Nov 2006 A grandmother from Kingston, Surrey, has become the third winner to scoop the jackpot at her local bingo hall in a month.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, took home more than £52,000 from the Gala Bingo hall on Richmond Road on Tuesday October 31st, the Surrey Comet reports.
The lady told the newspaper that as a dedicated bingo player, she may have "recouped" the money she has spent playing the game over the last 26 years.
Commenting on her win, the she said: "I won't be silly or go mad with it.
"I will have a nice holiday and then save the rest till I need it."
The woman, whose success follows big wins for a Chessington barmaid who took home £200,000 and another winner who became £51,000 richer earlier in the month, has already decided to share the money with her two daughters.
Gala Bingo, which has 5 million members, says that it hands-out £28 million pounds in prizes each week.
