By Sarah Smithon Friday, 28 Sep 2007 A 74-year-old grandma has won £100,000 on the bingo after playing for forty years.
Playing at the Gala Club in Flemington Road the pensioner from Kirkcaldy hit the jackpot on the National Bingo Game.
She then went on to win the house prize of £200, after completing a full house in 41 numbers, which is the lowest call in any of the 500 clubs playing across the nation.
"I sat there not speaking, I was so shocked," she told National Bingo.
"Everybody in the club was so pleased for me but I didn't feel anything. I was numb. I'm very happy now though," she added.
The lucky lady has six children, 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, with another one on the way.
But she wasn't the only one celebrating as Veronica Muir bagged £22,500 the day before playing the Big'N.
She then went on to pick up an extra £44, 917 on the same day by matching six numbers to win the Silver Jackpot at the Mecca Bingo in Glasgow.
