By Penny Walker on Tuesday, 9 Sep 2008 A US woman, whose mission it is to bridge the generation gap, has called on more young people to play bingo.
Angela Pusateri from Florida is a regular on the talent contest circuit, and tries to highlight how older people can have interests similar to that of the younger generation.
Going under the alias 'Granny Rapper', the 79-year-old thinks that more people of her age should be into hip hop, while youngsters should try out the numbers game, reports the Sun Sentinel.
Examples of her lyrics, which are sung at open mic nights across her hometown state, are highlighted by the newspaper.
"Move over, Trick Daddy, 'cause this is my town; I gotta shuffleboard posse and we're known to get down," she apparently raps.
The Harrow Observer reported last week that a 100-year-old bingo player celebrated her landmark birthday at her local Gala Bingo hall.
