By Sarah Smithon Friday, 12 Sep 2008 Sarah Jayne Dunn, who plays Mandy in Hollyoaks, will be one of the Channel 4 show's cast members going head-to-head with stars of Shipwrecked this weekend.
Representatives from the two series will appear in a programme on T4 on Sunday morning, where they battle it out in a competition to renovate a community centre in Manchester.
According to Channel 4's website, Orange Rockcorps is something that should not be missed when it airs at 09:20 BST.
"If you drag yourself out of bed a little earlier this Sunday then tune into Orange Rockcorps on T4 before the Hollyoaks omnibus," it states.
The idea of Rockcorps is to get young people helping out their local communities. As well as the good feelings volunteering can bring, the programme offers the incentive of tickets to top gigs around the UK to those who get involved.
Dunn, in her guise as Mandy, is currently involved in a love-cheat storyline on Hollyoaks that sees her sleep with her best friend's fiancé Warren.
