Pop superstar Michael Jackson has told The Mirror that he wants to live in Britain. In an interview published today (May 25th), he also revealed that he has been working on a new album, his first since 2001's Invincible. Jackson, who is in London on business, said: "I love it here. I'm looking for a place to live. I've always liked the UK and I just love the fans here." He added: "I'm also visiting my good friend Mohamed 'cos he's the man," referring to Mohamed Al Fayed, the owner of Harrods and a close friend of Jacko. While in Britain, Jackson will be looking at properties in and around London, as well as locations in Scotland and Ireland that could be the site of a new Neverland-style ranch. Jackson, whose record Thriller is the best-selling album of all time, was acquitted of child molestation charges last year.
