By Sarah Smithon Wednesday, 10 Oct 2007 An 81-year old who won £10,000 playing bingo says she is going to spend the lot.
The plucky pensioner says some of the winnings will fund a cruise for her and her husband.
She told National Bingo: "I also intend to spend the money on days and weekends out until its all gone."
The lucky lady was sharing the full jackpot of £20,000 with another winner in the UK who reached full house at the same time.
Elsewhere this week, a lady who had been playing bingo for more than 20 years bagged herself £100,000.
The Dewsbury pensioner completed full house in 44 numbers, which is the fewest of any player nationwide.
She said: "I was shocked when I realised I had won so I stayed reasonably calm."
