By Paula Wilcock on Tuesday, 24 Apr 2007 Jackpotjoy.com has announced the end of one its most popular promotions which saw hundreds of cash prizes handed out to lucky winners.
The bingo site, which is a partner of Bingobase, launched Win-a-thon 2007 on April 18th and offered members the chance to be entered into a prize draw.
All players had to do to win a bingo jackpot was play the online bingo games which they normally play.
For every £1 spent, they would receive a prize draw ticket and at the end of each day 20 tickets were randomly selected and the owner was given a prize.
Winners were notified via the site's winner's board and a total of £500 was handed out each day between April 18th and April 22nd.
Each player who won received a cash prize of £25, with £2,500 being awarded over the course of the week.
The promotion was arranged to coincide with the Flora London Marathon which was run on April 22nd.
