By Sarah Smithon Tuesday, 2 Jan 2007 Amid rumours of a wedding in Thailand, supermodel Kate Moss has denied she married singer Pete Doherty while on a new year's holiday.
Spokesman for the star, Stuart Higgins, said that Kate, 32, was on holiday on the island of Phuket and had not tied the knot.
"Contrary to various entirely false media reports today, there has not been any kind of marriage ceremony in Thailand," he remarked.
"She is on holiday."
It is rumoured that the couple were spotted taking part in a ceremony at a villa on the island, attended by their families and close friends.
Doherty, 27, is currently serving a court-imposed supervision order, which only allows him to travel in Europe, following a drugs-related conviction earlier in the year.
A source close to the pair told the Sun recently that the singer had been "desperate" to visit Thailand to see Kate, a move that would break his supervision order.
