Australian pop pixie Kylie Minogue will be unable to play at Glastonbury this year as she will be too busy.
Organisers had booked her to play the music festival in 2007, but have now confirmed that she will not be performing.
Emily Eavis, one of the festival's co-ordinators told BBC 6 Music that Kylie's performance is "not going to happen" due to a lot of "touring".
However, Ms Eavis' father Michael still holds out that Kylie will be able to play to the assembled crowds in the summer.
Kylie is due to play a full tour next year including dates in the UK, following cancellation of the Showgirl tour in 2005.
The first UK date is scheduled for New Year's Eve, which will start a seven-night residency at Wembley Arena.
She has completed the Australian leg of the tour, which saw her perform the song Kids with her sister Dannii Minogue on the last date.
