Ladbrokes has signed a deal with software developer Playwize to introduce three-dimensional poker software on to its website.
The agreement, which is for two years and involves a contribution from Ladbrokes towards development costs, will give online players exclusive access to Playwizes 3D product.
Playwize, an AIM listed company which has previously worked with Nintendo GameCube, Sonys PSP and Microsofts Xbox, saw its share price double after announcing the deal with Ladbrokes yesterday.
Other features of the software include real-time statistical calculators, interactive tutorials and live voice chat, according to Foo Katan, chief executive for the company.
Colin Cole-Johnson, director of gaming for Ladbrokes international said of the software: [It] has an impressive interface that is supported by unique interactive player development content.
He added that he believed the software would broaden the appeal of online poker.
Other treats to look out for on the Ladbrokes website this month include a jackpot of £5,552,153.43, at the last time of checking, in their online casino and £100 worth of free chips when you sign up online today.
