By Sarah Smithon Tuesday, 6 Mar 2007 Bingobase partner site Ladbrokes Bingo is to launch its first ever TV advertising campaign to promote its online bingo services.
The two "Escape to Ladbrokesbingo.com" adverts, which were created by the Leo Burnett agency, will draw on the theme of the excitement involved in playing bingo games, Mad.co.uk reports.
Commenting on the campaign, John O'Reilly, managing director of the firm, said: "Online bingo is helping Ladbrokes reach new audiences; around 40 per cent of the active players are women, compared to 20 per cent on our betting side."
Through TV advertising the firm hopes to achieve further success and consolidate its position as a leading brand, he added.
Players can participate in Ladbrokes Bingo games 24 hours a day, while the site also offers chat room facilities for visitors to "make new friends".
Bingo cards are available from 5p to £1 and each player can purchase up to 36 cards for any one game.
