The numbers game enthusiast, who is referred to online as bettylin, pocketed £25,539 after he was first to register a full house.
However, he did not quite believe that he had won and thought there was "something wrong" when he totted up his numbers at the end of the game.
"I was counting down the numbers I had left for the full house and when checking my balance after the game had finished ... I called my wife over to see and it was true," bettylin explained to the prize-giving site.
It was only after his other half had double-checked the numbers that his win was able to sink in.
Research by the Gambling Commission last year revealed that bingo is the only form of gambling that is more popular with women than it is with men.
