Spice Girl Mel B has claimed that she is glad to be far away from Eddie Murphy, saying that his 'dark side' makes him an unsuitable father figure for their daughter Angel Iris.
The singer only recently managed to prove that the Hollywood actor was the father of the three-month old girl after he continuously denied the paternal claims.
However, the 32-year old added that while in a relationship with Murphy, she had witnessed a "dark side" to him and she doesn't want her children to grow up in such an environment.
Speaking to Essence magazine, she said: "There were certain things that went on in his house with his lifestyle that I wasn't prepared to be part of."
"I now have a house where it's about my kids and me. I don't have people knocking on my door at three and four in the morning," she added.
The revelations come as the Spice Girls look forward to their reunion tour, which is scheduled to kick off in December.
While most of the dates have been confirmed, the group recently revealed that they are giving their fans the chance to choose the location of an extra date.
