A great grandma from Birkenhead scooped £10,000 yesterday, which she has promised to split with her daughter who also loves to play bingo.
The 81-year-old was playing in Birkenhead's Europa Centre when she won the National Bingo Afternoon Delight’s main prize.
She shared the total prize of £20,000 yesterday afternoon with another player in Cambridge, who also called full house in 44 numbers.
But the lucky lady was not perturbed at having to share her win.
"I couldn't believe it when I was told I had won…You never think that anything like this will happen to you," she told the National Bingo.
The widower with four children, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren has being playing bingo twice weekly for years at the Mecca Bingo.
