By Sarah Smithon Wednesday, 23 Jan 2008 A mum-of-two is celebrating this week after scooping a clean £15,000 playing bingo.
The part-time cleaner said that she was in shock after realising how much she had won.
She was at the Gala Bingo Club in Crescent Street, Weymouth when she hit the big time winning the National Bingo Game prize of £15,000.
However, the Dorchester lady's luck didn't end there as she went on to bag the house prize of £30.
She told the National Bingo: "I was shocked when it was announced how much I had won and I just sat there with my head in my hands, but it's a very nice surprise."
The National Bingo Prize that night was a whopping £45,000 but two other players around the UK in Woking and Bournemouth also completed full house in 41 balls and shared the winnings.
Weymouth's winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, began playing bingo just a year ago after going to the Gala Club with a friend who was already a member.
