By Sarah Smithon Thursday, 4 Jan 2007 A local daily publication in Derbyshire has this week launched a new bingo game for readers.
The Derby Evening Telegraph has a fund of £25,000 on offer to readers who chalk up a full house! in the newspaper's Dream Ticket bingo promotion, which will be appearing in Wednesday's issue for the next seven weeks.
Readers will receive 12 bingo game cards with the issue which need to be checked off against the numbers printed in the newspaper, with full house winners to receive £1,000 each.
"Just think what you could do if you won one of the full-house prizes of £1,000," says the daily title.
"Pay off all your Christmas bills? Plan a summer holiday? Or maybe just treat yourself and all the family."
Readers with a winning ticket are advised to call a hotline on the day after their lucky numbers have come up in order to claim their cash prize.
In other bingo news, a man from the midlands has vowed to continue his bingo calling duties at a local care home, despite turning 80 years old at the end of December, reports the Bromsgrove Advertiser.
