Lars Bakken Elvsveen, who works for Norsk Bingo AS, has suggested that the numbers game is enjoyed by many people in his country.
His comments come one week after Ravi Virpal, director of Bullet Business, the company that organises the UK-based Online Bingo Summit in London, claimed that the game has "grown in the national conscience" of Britons over the last few years.
Mr Elvsveen's assessment of the hobby in Norway came in a statement, which was made to reveal a new link-up between his organisation and software firm Parlay Entertainment.
The collaboration has brought touch screen tabletop kiosks to Norwegian bingo halls, allowing gamers to access online bingo while they sit in traditional land-based halls.
Radio frequency cards are used to play the sessions and make payments.
"This gives [people in Norway] the opportunity to enjoy a new dimension of the game. Bringing Parlay's online bingo games to our existing bingo halls is a winning combination for all," Mr Elvsveen remarked.
